Ada I. Mierzwa, nee Santori, age 94, of Harvey, IL, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John F. Mierzwa. Loving mother of Louise Romba, the late Loretta Hutchinson, and Kathleen Mierzwa. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Knoell and Cari Miller and great-grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Mary Maurizi, Louise Buell, Virg D'Orazio, and the late Anne Kalina.

Visitation Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 12:30 until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 P.M. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. Interment Assumption Cemetery - Glenwood, IL. Mrs. Mierzwa was pure of heart and mind and always selfless and loving. She was always looking to take care of others especially with cooking and cleaning. She loved her family, children, and animals of all kinds. She loved her dogs and cats especially and quite often had one laying or sleeping on her lap. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
