Adrianne "Babe" Lund, nee Slager, age 86, of Munster, IN formerly of South Holland, IL passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Richard Lund Jr.; loving mother of Steven (Roberta) Lund, Richard (Diane) Lund III, and Linda (Larry) Welch; grandmother of Cassi, Haven, Jennifer, Steven, Michael, Alex, Amy, and Aaron and great-grandmother of Lilly and Liam; dear sister of the late Bill (Helen) Slager, Ann (late Dave) Drinnan, Jeanette (late Chuck) Linden, Carol(late Donald) Housman, and John (Joanne) Slager. Visitation Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311. Funeral Service, Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at First Reformed Church of South Holland. Interment Homewood Memorial Gardens- Homewood, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Association or the First Reformed Church of South Holland. Adrianne was a retired secretary for Chicago Title and Trust. Babe was a kind and generous person to all. She loved to bake and share her baked goods with family and friends. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
