Dear brother of Cheryl (David) Mercier and Julie (Dan) DeYoung. Fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, August 8, 2014 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane Dyer, IN 46311 with Rev. Cal Aardsma. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Frontline Foundations, Inc. (1008 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304)
