Alba Marge Christo

Alba Marge Christo nee Granno, age 88, of South Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Beloved wife and best friend for 58 years of the late Edward M. "Eddie" Christo. Loving mother of Raymond (Diane) Christo, Robert (Deborah) Christo and Rodney (Suzie) Christo. Dear grandmother of Erica, Bethany, Matthew, Nicholas and Gabrielle and great grandson Cameron. Dear aunt to many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by siblings; Alda Cappelletti, Joseph Granno, Laura Bijak, Terry Capua, and parents; Pasquale and Maria Granno. Alba was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits- Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL. Entombment to follow at Assumption Cemetery - Glenwood, IL. Memorials may be given to the family or to the American Cancer Association.
