Albert Frederick Linker, age 68, of Sauk Village, IL passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017. Loving brother of Carl Linker, Carol (Joel) Jordan, Jill (Nolton) Knight, the late Cheryl Linker, and the late Fred (Linda) McDonald. Proud uncle of one nephew Bobby, and four nieces Jennifer, Krystal, Sarah, and Elizabeth; three great-nephews and five great-nieces. Also survived by his friend William Mullee and his devoted dog Dot. Preceded in death by his parents Fred and Margaret (nee DeYoung) Linker. Visitation Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL with Rev. Dr. Matt Waterstone officiating. Interment at Homewood Memorial Gardens – Homewood, IL. Albert was a Mail Handler for the Chicago Post Office for many years.
