Alfred Paul Brassea

Alfred “Al” Paul Brassea, age 93, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 27, 2026. Beloved long-time partner of Joan Offutt. Loving father of Colette (John) Kapost and Danielle (Don) Migler. Cherished grandfather of Ally and C.J. and great-grandfather of Abel and Audrey. Dear brother of George (Gladyce) Brassea Sr. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Phyliss and Pietro Brassea and his siblings Anthony (Leigh) Brassea, Margaret O’Connell and Donald (Nancy) Brassea. Al was a proud veteran of The United States Navy. He loved to spend his time in his garden and decorating the house for holidays. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
