Alice Deboer

Alice DeBoer, nee Zylstra, age 91 of St. John, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 11, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Andrew DeBoer.  Loving mother of Arthur (Karla) DeBoer, Andrew M. (Celeste) DeBoer, Michael (Peggy) DeBoer, Pattie DeBoer, Karen (Rudy) Beezhold, Kathy (Dean) Natelborg, George (Beth) DeBoer, Scott (Patty) DeBoer, and Lisa (Paul) Schulz.  Cherished grandmother of 27; great-grandmother of 41. Dear sister of the late Fannie (late George) Kruizenga and the late Margaret (late Louis) Van Kuiken.  Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.  Funeral service Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Glen United Reformed Church , 2244 Indiana Ave. Lansing, IL with Rev. Ed Marcusse officiating.
