Andrew N. Abatzis

Andrew N. Abatzis, age 77, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024.  Loving husband of 56 years of Alexis S. Abatzis, nee Sadula.  Devoted father of Roberta Abatzis, Lauren (Michael) Nowocin, and Jason Abatzis.  Kind grandfather of Erika (Brad) Abatzis, Andrew Eagan, Shane (Sydney) Ratkovich, and Clint (Emilee) Ratkovich.  Dearest brother of Niki Sherwood, Mary Migawa, Marcella Karioris, and the late Ioannis Abatzis, Angie Bertsos, Georgia Pappas, and Penelope Bouros.  Andrew was loved by his family and many friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial visitation Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.
