Andrew L Banicki

Andy Banicki, 55, died peacefully April 2, 2014. He was a loving husband to his wife, Pam (Jennings) and a devoted father to his sons, Greg, Shaun and Zachary. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew R. Banicki and Mercedes Banicki (Hawkins) He is survived by his brother, Dennis (Katherine) and his sister Christine (Ron) Rotondi. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Doug (Belen) Jennings, of Arizona. Cherished son-in-law to Doyle and Naoma Jennings of Kentucky. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and loving family member to numerous cousins. Andy graduated from Bloom High school then went on to graduate from Southern Illinois University. He currently worked as a Supervisor for Com Ed. He was also interested in doing what he could to better the village of Steger by being a Trustee on the Village Board. For Many years Andy was involved with Steger Basketball. He especially enjoyed going fishing every May with a close group of friends in Minnesota.
