Angelita Zarate, nee Sanchez, age 78, of Chicago Heights, IL passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Miguel Zarate.  Loving mother of Nick (Joanie) Murray, Angelita Murray, and Sarah (Dennis) Murray.  Dearest grandmother of Cecilia (Adam), Juan (Stephanie), Rebecca (Noe), Angelita, Tony, Brandon, and Jesus; great-grandmother of Laelia.  Cherished sister of Theresa “Teddy” (Randy) Beach, David (Barb) Sanchez, late Pete (Vickie) Sanchez, late Jesse (Linda) Sanchez, and late Lilly Mendez.  Angelita was preceded in death by her grandson Miguel Angel, and by parents; Pedro and Petra Flores-Sanchez.  Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Angelita was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Memorial Visitation Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at Smits -Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd.
