Angelo Michael Masciotra, age 34, of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Crete, IL, passed away peacefully January 18, 2015. Beloved son of Michael and Bobette Masciotra. Loving brother of Natalie (Eric) Sidor. Dear uncle of Vivianna and Sebastian. Cherished grandson of Robert (late Patricia) Tintari, and the late Nick (late Mary) Masciotra. Dear cousin of Tony (Angela), Tintari, Stella and Sammy Tintari, Amanda Hernandez, Robert (Katrina) Masciotra, Marco Garcia, Breen Masciotra, Nicola and Nicholas Masciotra and the late Dominic Tintari. Loving nephew of Joe and Mimi Tintari, Jorge and Tammy Hernandez, Marylynn and Ray Wagner, Nick and Ranae Masciotra. Visitation Friday, January 23, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane Dyer, Indiana. Funeral Mass Saturday 11:00 a.m. at St. Liborius Church - Steger IL. Interment private. Angelo attended St.Liborius Church and C.C.D. classes. He was baptized and Uncle Joe Tintari and Auntie Marylnn Wagner were his godparents, made his first communion, and confirmation, and Big Mick Gryzbowski was his sponsor. Angelo attended Crete-Monee High School. His true passion was golf, he was all conference his sophomore year at 15 years old. He loved playing in all the local tournaments.
