Anita Marie Martin

Anita Marie Martin, nee Wessman, age 57, of Thornton, IL passed away, Friday, January 26, 2024.  Beloved wife of David Martin.  Loving mother of Megan, Jamie, Danielle, and David Jr. Extremely loving and caring grandmother to Cooper Pruitt, David Jaxon Martin, Daniel Schroeder, and Nikki Martin. Dear sister of Petrinia (Lee) Mello, Patricia (John) Sippel, Peter Mark Wessman, and the late Paul Wessman.  Dear sweet loving daughter to the late Peter and Arlene Wessman. Loving aunt, great aunt, cousin, and sister-in-law to numerous family. Anita was and still is loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN.
