Ann Michelle Chung

Ann Michelle Chung, nee Brown, age 43, of Homewood, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, August 12, 2022. Beloved wife of Thomas L. Chung.  Cherished daughter of Michael and Barb Brown. Loving sister of Matthew A. Brown.

Annie’s friends describe her as “pure walking sunshine” and “a bright light like an angel”. She always found the good in people and the positive in any situation. Her genuine compassion and selflessness touched the hearts of so many people. Annie was funny, quick witted, and had a smile that would light up the room.

She loved music. She loved to travel. She loved good food and good beer. She loved cheesy hallmark movies and murder mystery TV shows. Most importantly, she loved her husband, her family, her friends, her church, and her dogs.

Annie believes in the saying, “Joy is much bigger than happiness. While happiness is often seen as dependent on external circumstances, Joy is not.” Her life was most certainly full of JOY!

Visitation Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spirit of God Fellowship, 16350 State St. South Holland, IL. Funeral service Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Spirit of God Fellowship with Pastor Brian Kamstra officiating. Memorial contributions may be given Restoration Ministries ( www.restorationministries.net ).
