Ann Marie Sorensen

Ann Marie Sorensen, nee Conroy, age 79, late of Calumet City, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 12, 2020.  Dear longtime companion of John Olson.  Loving mother of April (John) Zandy and the late Charles T. Sorensen.  Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Nicole (Sean), Amy, Ryan (Stephanie), Amber, Christopher, and Nina; great-grandmother of Jake and Natalie.  Dearest sister of Charles (Lori) Conroy and the late John “Buzzy” Conroy.  Kind aunt of nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents John and Irene Conroy.

Public visitation Friday, May 15, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and a private family visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Prayer service at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating, at Smits Funeral Home  2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, Indiana, James E. Janusz Director.  Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
