Ann Marie Nichols, nee Korniak, age 75, of Griffith, IN, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016. Beloved wife of 54 years to Jay Nichols. Devoted mother of Jim (Kim) Nichols, Joe (Emily) Nichols and Cyndi (Jaime) Brazina. Proud grandmother of five; great grandmother of three. Dearest sister of Tom (Pat) Korniak and Frances (Bill) Valade. Visitation Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Mary Church, 525 N. Broad St. Griffith, IN. Burial Mt. Calvary Cemetery – Rensselaer, IN.
