Anselm “Pat” LaPat, age 81, of Darien, IL, formerly of South Holland, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Beloved husband of Carolyn LaPat, nee Wheeler. Devoted father of Rosemary (Bob) Fier, Robert (Kimberly) LaPat, and Jim (Misty) LaPat. Proud grandfather of Matthew (Ashley), Ariel, Ian, Nathan and Aiden. Great-grandfather of Shane, Olivia, and Charlie. Dear brother of the late Bernard LaPat. Preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Leona LaPat. Anselm was a United States Navy Veteran.
