Anthony C. Tony Salerno, age 74, of South Holland, IL, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. Husband of the late Dorothy A. Salerno nee Kissell. Devoted father of Jacqui (Jay) Mabin and Toni Marie (Dave) Janzen. Dear brother of the late Emil (late Sandy) Salerno and the late Rose (Carl) Adinolfi. Kind uncle of Karen (Chris) Kunze and Cathy (late Frank) Tenuto. Special friend of Jeannie Truxal. Visitation Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service 7:00 p.m. at Spirit of God Fellowship Church (16350 State St. South Holland, IL 60473) with Dr. John Sullivan officiating. Interment Private. Tony was a senior counselor at Restoration Ministries and a prison chaplain. Tony was a friend and mentor to many. Tony was a beloved employee for 26 years at Ronnie Colosimos Oak Lawn Toyota. He will be missed by all.
