Arlene “Lee” Burkhart

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. We sadly announce the passing of Arlene “Lee” Burkhart, age 87, on June 9, 2026.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Owen L. Burkhart; her mother, Florence Nastasi; and her brother, Jim Roeske.

Lee is survived by her two children, Dale (Tracy) Johnson and Donna Johnson; her granddaughter, Aimee (Ricky) Moran; great-granddaughter, Makenna Moran; special friend, Debby Marker; sister-in-law, Pam Roeske; niece, Sharon (David) Bux; nephew, Michael Roeske; and great-niece and nephew, Maleah and Mason Bux.

Not a single soul ever had anything to say about Lee except how sweet she was. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and warm memories that will live on in all who knew her.

She loved lemons, crackers and tomatoes, salads with cottage cheese, and caramel apple suckers. She also loved watching HSN and QVC. You could never leave a visit with her without her slipping a few dollars into your hand or making you a meal.

To say she will be missed is quite the understatement. We love you to the moon and back. Fly, fly little wing.
