Arlene Palango

Arlene Palango, nee Oakes, age 89, late of Dyer, IN, formerly of Dolton and Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 13, 2021.  Loving wife of the late Frank Palango Jr. Devoted mother of Susan (late Mike) Musacchio, Janet (Gary) Steffens, Scott (late Aaron Johnson) Palango, the late Paul (Cheryl) Palango, and the late Richard Palango.  Proud grandma and great-grandma of many; great-great grandma of one.  Dearest sister of the late Glen, late Benjamin and late David Oakes.  Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Beatrice Oakes.

Visitation Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the prayer service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, James E. Janusz, Director, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
