Arlene R. Porter , nee Dahlman, age 86, of Munster, IN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Porter. Loving mother of Debbie (John) Van Deel, Cindi (Robert) Van Rosendale, Pat (Ray) West, Chuck (Cheryl) Porter, Pam (Rick) Brouwer, and Tom (Lori) Porter. Proud grandmother of 18; great-grandmother of 28. Dearest sister of the late Robert (late Irma) Dahlman and the late Shirley (late Edwin) Oppenhuis. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood-Lansing Rd. Lansing, IL. Funeral service Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Bethel CRC with services conducted by Rev. Cal Aardsma and Pastor Shaun Buikema. A private family burial service will be held prior to the service at Oakland Memory Lanes – Dolton, IL. Arlene was a dedicated employee at The Corporate Thread for 25 years.
