Arlene “Jackie” J. Reinsma, nee Vink, age 87, of Lansing, IL went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Beloved wife of Reynold Reinsma. Loving mother of Randall (Gayle) Reinsma, Vickie (Gary) DeYoung, Lance (Karen) Reinsma, Dirk (Penny) Reinsma, and Sherry (Mike) Tempelman. Devoted grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Gerrit and Grace Vink and siblings Marion Vink, Terry Vink, and Alma Atkinson.

Jackie was a Godly woman and a prayer warrior for her family and friends and her unconditional love was always evident. She cherished her time with her family. Before she retired to raise her family she was a teacher at Lansing Christian School. She was a longtime member with her husband at First Church in Lansing. Jackie was dearly loved by her family and many friends and will be missed abundantly.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN. A Funeral service will take place at the First Church PCA of Lansing on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. A private family burial service will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Lansing Christian School ( https://lansingchristian.org/ ) or Bible League International ( https://www.bibleleague.org/ ) .
