Arlene J. Vander Zee, nee Stienstra, age 58, of St. John, IN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 2, 2013. Beloved wife of Kenneth Vander Zee. Devoted mother of Joel A. (Robyn), David M., and Daniel J. Vander Zee. Loving daughter of Julia (August) Spyksma and the late Richard M. Stienstra. Dearest sister of Richard (Linda), Warren (Linda), Donald (Thea), Wayne (Jennie), John (Mary Kay) Stienstra. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Thorn Creek Reformed Church (1875 E. 170th St., South Holland, IL 60473) with Rev. Jacques Roets, Dr. Cornelis Venema, and Dr. Mark Beach officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL.
