Art Johnson, age 77, of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 4, 2016. Loving father of Richard (Tina) Johnson, Becki (Kevin) Bachert, Tim (Sandy) Johnson, and Mike (Sharon) Johnson. Proud grandpa of Elizabeth, Jenna, Alyssa, Bradley, Sarah, Tiffany, Nathan, Hannah, Stephanie and Michael; great-grandpa of 6. Dear brother of Karen (Frank) Novak, Keith (Harriet) Johnson, Richard (Suzie) Johnson, David (Margie) Wegner, Phillip (Joann) Wegner, and Paul (Pam) Johnson. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Rebecca Johnson. Visitation Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Faith United Reformed Church (130 W. Corning Rd. Beecher, IL 60401) with Rev. Todd Joling officiating. Art was the retired owner of Art Johnson and Sons, Inc. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Faith United Reformed Church or Village Woods greatly appreciated.
