Arthur “Art” Jimenez, age 67, of Schererville, IN passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Yvonne Jimenez, nee Ronge. Loving father of Steve (Kristin) Jimenez, Terry Jimenez, and Rae Casto. Proud grandfather of Katie Hamlin, Jonathan Casto and Gillian Casto. Dearest brother of Helen (Jack) Houston, George (Dianne) Jimenez, David (Carl) Jimenez, Pam (Bob) Spodarek, Teresa (Vince Vaiciulis) Nowacki, Christine Jimenez, Eddy (Karen) Jimenez, and Leonardo Jimenez. Godfather of Jeffrey Houston. Also survived by many special friends, neighbors, nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents Antonio Jimenez and Adelle Murillo. Memorial visitation Friday, November 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
