Arthur "Tub" Jansma

Arthur R. Jansma, “Tub”, age 90, of Lynwood, IL, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Ilene Jansma, nee Witvoet. Loving father of Deborah (Kenneth) Blocker, Dale (Jenine) Jansma, Duane (Lisa) Jansma, and Darryl (Darla) Jansma. Cherished grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 57. Dear brother of Carl and preceded in death by siblings Richard, Tillie, William, Elliott Jr., Cora, Grace, Ruth, Michael, Peter, Joyce, Donald and James. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Elliott and Clara Jansma.

Mr. Jansma was a lifelong member of First Church of Lansing where he served many terms as an elder and deacon. He also previously served on the Rest Haven Christian Services Board. Tub was a longtime heavy equipment operator with Local #150 and was an avid bowler. He was loved by his family and will be missed.

Visitation Friday, July 17, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at First Church (PCA), 3134 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL with services conducted by Rev. Jacob Gerber. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to First Church of Lansing(PCA) or the Alzheimer’s Association.
