Barbara J. Jurczuk, nee Michalski, age 74, of Dyer, IN formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Jurczuk. Devoted mother of Karen Suknovich and Linda (Robert) Lopez. Proud grandmother of Camille, Joey, Claire, Jimmy and Adam. Dear sister of Walter "Sonny" (Rhonda) Michalski Jr. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Helen Michalski Sr. Visitation Monday, July 29, 2013 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 DIRECTLY AT St. Joseph Church (440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN 46311) with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery - Calumet City, IL. Barbara was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Dyer, an Extraordinary Minister, Lector, Food Pantry Volunteer, Member of the Altar & Rosary Sodality. Barbara was a dedicated former employee at Stefaniak-Conrad Insurance and Aardsma Insurance Agency. Barbara was kind and loving, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
