Barbara J. Leach

Barbara J. Leach, nee Oppenhuis age 84, of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully Monday, November 11, 2019.  Loving mother of Wendy (Don) Rosenberger, Debra (Daniel) Zandstra, and Mark (Joyce) Groen.  Proud grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of eight.  Dear sister of Janell (Pete) Moser and Dana (Ed) Ciesielski. Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Grace Oppenhuis.  Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN with Rev. James Oord officiating. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.  Memorial contributions may be given to Highland Christian School or Hospice of the Calumet Area .
