Barbara J. Reiter, nee Moore, age 76, suddenly, of Dyer, IN, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Beloved wife of Joseph W. Reiter. Devoted mother of Michele (Kert) Siemiawski, Joseph (Cheryl) Reiter Jr., Kelly (fiancé Rick Millhouse) Meyers, and the late Randall Reiter. Proud grandmother of Nicholas, Alex, Jillian, Matthew, and McKenna. Dearest sister of Patricia Biczo, Carol Strausas, and the late Ann (Ray) Simons. Kind aunt of many nieces, nephews, and many dear and longtime friends. Memorial service Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home - James E. Janusz-Director 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30&Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN 46311 with Rev. Henry Sequeira officiating. Private Cremation. Mrs. Reiter was a volunteer at the Shrine of Christ''s Passion and at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital Chapel. She led 28 pilgrimages to Medjugorje and many other international destinations.
