Barbara Ann Swope, nee Barwick, age 73, late of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully Monday, April 30, 2018. Beloved wife of Charles “Jack” Swope. Loving mother of Christine Swope-Cholewa and Shawn (Jill) Swope. Proud grandmother of Jacob Cholewa, and Harper and Piper Swope. Dear sister of John Barwick. Mother-in-law of Jeffrey Cholewa. Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dolores Barwick. Visitation Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.
