Barbara Jean Toth

Barbara J. Toth, nee Sorenson, age 86, of Highland, IN, passed away peacefully Friday, October 4, 2019.  Loving wife of David C. Toth.  Devoted mother of David P. (Kathie) Toth, James A. (Cheryl) Toth, and Allison L. (Robert) Toth-Wisniewski.  Proud grandmother of Nicki Toth, David Toth Jr., Kimmy Toth, Melissa, Jessica, Angela, Becca, Cilla, and James; great-grandmother of Marissa, Chelsey, Rebecca, James Jr., Andrew, and Adam; great-great-grandmother of Emmitt Blake.  Dearest sister of Tom Sorenson, Roberta Drosset, and the late Carol Kane.  Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mildred Sorenson.  Memorial visitation Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311, with Rev. James Toth officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Homewood Cancer Center, 2028 Elm Rd., Homewood, IL 60430, greatly appreciated.
