Beatrice R. Dykstra nee Kikkert, age 91, late of South Holland, IL. Passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Holland Home where she had lived for 6 years. Beloved wife of the late Tony T. Hoekstra and late John W. Dykstra. Cherished mother of Thomas W. (Joyce) Hoekstra, Bonita L. (James) Hudspeth and Barbara E. (George) Zandstra. Precious grandmother of 7; great-grandmother of 7. Step-mother of Shirley DeJong and Pat Goote. Step-grandmother of 7; step-great-grandmother of 14. Dearest sister of the late Albert (Lois) Kikkert, late Jeanne (Mel) Hoekstra, late Mildred (Don) Ruiter and late Shirley (Gil) Lyzenga. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Lena Kikkert. Her life revolved around her family, her church and the local Christian schools. Beas love of gardening and birds and Gods creation was passed on to her children and grandchildren. Bea will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her..she was truly a Proverbs 31 woman.
