Bernard Boersema

Bernard “Ben” Boersema , age 87, of Lansing, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Lois Boersema, nee Van Proyen. Loving father of Patricia (Nathan) Martin, Sandra (Rob) DeVries, Linda (Bob) Fox and the late Edward Boersema.  Proud grandfather of Andrew (Kayla) Martin, Adam (Rachel) Martin, Hannah (Mike) Togtman, Samantha (Mario) Ortiz, Cassandra (Andrew) Siersema, Brent (Lyndi) Fox and Kyle (Kelsey) Fox.  Great-grandfather of 13.  Dear brother of late Benjamin Boersema, late Edward Boersema, Richard (late Jeanette) Boersema, late Martin (Alice) Boersema, Inez (late Siepbrand DeYoung) (late Marv) Koldenhoven, late Anjean (late Henri) VanderWaard, late Cora (late Wayne) Martin, late Albert (late Linda) Boersema.  Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Lynwood United Reformed Church, 1990 Glenwood- Dyer Rd., Lynwood, IL with services conducted by Rev. Nick Alons. Private interment Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens – Lemont, IL.
