Bernice Mitchell

Bernice Mitchell, née Jarvis, age 87, late of Bicknell, Indiana, formerly of Momence, Illinois, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 8, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Earl Mitchell. Loving mother of Robert (Jolene) Mitchell, Roseann (Darby) Smith, and the late Ralph Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald (Mary) Jarvis. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; Harvey and Louise Lanoue-Jarvis, siblings; Marie Huhn, Helen Seibert, and Robert Jarvis.

Bernice retired from Quaker Oats Corp. after 23 years of service. Because of Bernice's love for the Lord, she felt her gift was serving others in any way she could.

Visitation for Bernice will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Calvary Bible Church, 2587 E Armour Rd, Bourbonnais, Illinois. Celebration of Life Service Friday, June 14, 2019 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Bible Church of Bourbonnais. Burial will be in the Union Corners Cemetery, Momence, IL.
