Bessie Ketelaar

Bessie Ketelaar, nee Huizenga, age 98, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit "Jerry" Ketelaar. Loving mother of Judith (Wes) Van Bruggen, the late Gerald "Butch" Ketelaar, and Linnea (Norm) Bakker. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Rose Pels and Dorothy Ebbens. Also preceded in death by a granddaughter Jennifer, grandson Wesley John, her six brothers (Jake, Sam, Louie, Bill, John, and Owen "Whitey") and three sisters (Alice, Jennie, and Rena). She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed. Visitation Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.)
