Bette Jo Schichner, nee Pistello, age 68, of Glenwood, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Beloved wife of the late William J. Schichner. Devoted mother of Renee (Michael) Weis and Todd (Angela) Schichner. Devoted grandmother of Jason and Alyssa. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph C. and Bette J. Pistello. Visitation Monday, April 13, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Funeral service Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Church, 100 - 81st Ave. Dyer, IN with services conducted by Pastor Bob Bouwer. Bette Jo was a member of Faith Church, President of the Glenwood Lady Lioness Club and a member of the District Advisory Lions Board.
