Betty Van Houten

Betty N. Van Houten, nee Sikkema, age 88, of Munster, IN formerly of Jamestown, MI went to be home with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Van Houten. She is survived by three daughters, Luanne(Lou) Blossom, Jane(late Gerry) Bolkema, and Lyn(Jim) Davies. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who gave her much joy: grandchildren, Braden(Shana) Bolkema, Derek(Kristin) Bolkema, Deanne(Mike) Van Rosendale, Graham(Alyss) Bolkema and Melissa Blossom; great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Evelyn Bolkema, Whitney and Kate Van Rosendale and Adahlyn Bolkema. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer(late Gladys) Sikkema, Henry(late Judith) Sikkema, Erwin Sikkema, and Jay(Joan) Sikkema. A committal service will be held in the spring at Zutphen Cemetery with Dr. Daniel Mouw officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to South Grandville Christian Reformed Church, 4130 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
