Betty R. Lilly, nee Lewis, age 93, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Charles Lilly. Loving mother of Maryann (Tony) Eddy, Linda Sessa, Jon "Jack" (companion Athena Sarvanidis) Lilly and the late Suzanne Lilly. Proud grandmother of Gina (Jeremy) Charles, Robin (Craig) Cox, Kelly (Angelo) Vanni, Kathryn Lilly, John Sessa, Erik Lilly; great-grandmother of Dylan, Elyse, Calista, Lauren, Caitlyn, Tiana, Emma, and Francesca. Mother-in-law of Agnes Lilly, cousin of Laura Liddle and Jane (Matt) Cherepak. Preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Ida Mae Lewis. Funeral service Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Anderson officiating, followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311.
