Beverly Conway

The Rev. Beverly L. Conway of Blue Island was called home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2015. Survived by daughter Lucille (Stephen) Dunson and grandson Andrew Brown. Preceded in death by husband Henry Conway and parents Lucille and Jesse Brown. She also leaves behind her church family and loving friends to whom she was extremely grateful these last months for their loving care, prayers and support. A graduate of Loyola University and the Lutheran School of Theology, Pastor Conway was ordained in December 1995 and served several ELCA churches in the Chicago area - Bethel Lutheran, Light of Christ Lutheran and Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in South Holland.An active volunteer in many areas throughout her life, she found her greatest passion was working with the youth. While volunteering with various ELCA Youth Ministry groups, Leadership Labs and Youth Gatherings Pastor Conway enjoyed the eagerness of the youth to learn and their honesty. Pastor Conway will be greatly remembered and celebrated by all she knew, helped, mentored and loved along her life''s journey.
