Beverly C. Petrovic

Beverly C. Petrovic, nee Larson, age 83, of Crete, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Petrovic. Loving mother of Susan (Larry) Zavis and Kristin (Dan) Sprouse. Devoted grandmother of Danielle, Austin, Nick, and Jenna. Preceded in death by her parents Thorsten and Gerda Larson.

Beverly found great joy in life’s simple routines and meaningful connections. She often spent her time reading the newspaper, watching her favorite game shows, and enjoying a piece of candy (she sure did have a sweet tooth!). She was proud of her Swedish heritage and traditions. She had a special love for birds and took delight in their presence, reflecting her gentle and observant nature. Her faith was central to her life, and she deeply cherished her church and the many friends she made there. She especially enjoyed gathering with friends for Bunco, where laughter and companionship filled the room. Visiting Minnesota held a special place in her heart, creating treasured memories she spoke of often. She will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and appreciation for the simple pleasures that made life rich and full. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Visitation Monday, December 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 651 E 166th St, South Holland, IL. Interment Concordia Cemetery – Hammond, IN. Memorial contributions may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church – 651 E 166th St, South Holland, IL.
