Billy G Merrell

Billy G. Merrell, age 92, of University Park, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 9, 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Grace Marie Merrell, nee Meier.  Loving father of Panthia (Robert) Manwaring, Jim (Kim) Merrell, Billy Merrell Jr., and Tina (Jeff) Postma.  Cherished grandfather to six grandchildren.  Dear great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren.  Billy was a proud Korean War Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd.
