Bobby D Owens 72, of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully May 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Veta Owens nee Bruns. Loving father of Randy Lindley, Bobbi Ann Dennis, Tracy (Glenn) Garza, Brian (Jen) Hawkins and Melissa (Jay) Burnett. Cherished grandfather of 17 Grandchildren. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Bruno) Sumner and Billy Owen. Bobby is also survived by a special nephew: Tony Merrick, dear mother-in-law: Rosa Bruns and many other friends and family members. Visitation Wednesday May 29, 2013 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm at Smits Funeral Home-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475. Funeral Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel.
