Calvin "Cal" Wagner, age 84, of Seminole, FL, formerly of Lake Village, IN. Passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his home. Survived by his wife, Viola, "Vi" Wagner nee Van Vuren; Two sons, Gerald Lee "Jerry" Wagner of Seminole, FL, and Charles (Debra) Wagner of St. John, IN; Grandchildren, Jerod Wagner of Lake Village, IN, Nathan (Windy) Wagner of Morocco, IN, Megan Wagner, Esq. (Josh Brugger) of Chicago, IL, Margo Wagner of Guatemala and Myia Wagner of Lafayette, IN; Three great-grandsons, Dillon, Colton and Colin Wagner; Sisters, Janet (Charles) Detmar of South Holland, IL and Shirley (Leonard) Boersma of Three Rivers, MI. Preceded in death by his daughter Patty Wagner. Visitation Monday, October 15, 2012 from 9:00 until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Lawrence Howerzyl officiating at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311. Private interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. Cal was a lifelong farmer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wagner family.
