Carol J. Hedberg

Carol J. Hedberg, nee Andersen, age 83, of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Loving wife of the late Milford N. “Bud” Hedberg Jr.  Devoted mother of Candice (Michael) Boer, Karen (Charles) Weiss, and James Hedberg.  Proud grandmother of Stephanie (Curt) Edwards, Kirsten (Brandon) Utley, Rachel (Kevin) Phipps, and Lindsay (Joseph) Sherman and great-grandmother of Declan Edwards, Annalise Edwards, Gianna Phipps and Cole Phipps. Dear sister of Marian (late Richard) Hess, Betty (late Richard) Palm, and Martha (Carl) Christensen. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents John and Ingrid Andersen.

Visitation Friday, December 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311, with Rev. Tony Suiter officiating. Interment Memory Lane Cemetery – Schererville, IN.
