Carol J. Sobut

Carol J. Sobut, nee Rosinko, age 90, of Crete, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Matthew B. Sobut.  Loving mother of Thomas (Dorothy Downs) Sobut and Timothy Sobut.  Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Elena, Matthew, and Sam.  Dear sister of the Late John (Late Patricia) Rosinko, Late Richard  (Marilyn) Rosinko, Late Larry (Late Delores) Rosinko and Tim Rosinko. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Florence Rosinko.  Carol was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation to be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.  Visitation Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass directly at St. James Catholic Church, 22400 Torrence Ave, Sauk Village, IL 60411. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
