Carole L. Verkaik (nee Kansfield) age 78, of South Holland, IL passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Verkaik.  Loving mother of Ken (Linda) Verkaik and Kari (Dennis) Todaro.  Devoted grandmother of Doug (Joy) Verkaik, Jill (Hector) Sanchez, and John Elliot (Xuan) Todaro; great-grandmother of A.J., Lydia, and Viviana.  Dear sister of Norman (Mary) Kansfield.  Sister-in-law of Jane (late Rev. Harris) Verkaik and Chila (late Hank) Verkaik.  Preceded in death by her parents Orval and Margaret (nee Norman) Kansfield.  Carole was a loving and caring wife, mom, grandma, and nurse.  She worked her entire 31-year career at Ingalls Memorial Hospital.  She truly was a blessing to so many people.

Visitation Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162 ^nd St. (Rt.6/159 ^th St.) South Holland, IL with Rev.
