Caroline D. Muscarella

Caroline D. Muscarella, nee Lenart, age 86, of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 11, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Muscarella.  Loving mother of Stephen (Dawn) Muscarella, Lauren (George) Briggs, and Lea (Philip) Hayes. Proud grandmother of Mallory and Garrison. Dear sister of John (Melody) Lenart and the late Cecilia (late Richard) Jensen. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Also preceded in death by her parents John and Elizabeth Lenart.

Visitation, Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN with a Prayer service to be held at 3:00 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. directly at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1 W. Wilhelm St. Schererville, IN (please arrive at church by 10:15 A.M. and use the South doors) with Rev. Jacob McDaniel officiating.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery – Alsip, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Calumet Area Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
