Caroline M. Pfeifer

Caroline M. Pfeifer nee Roesner, age 102, of Beecher, Illinois, formerly of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 6, 2025. Loving mother of Roger (Candy) Pfeifer, Carol (Tom) Merlini and Gayle (Jim) Baine. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 20 great-grandchildren. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Pfeifer and her 11 brothers and sisters. Caroline was a member of the Steger V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, the Altar Guild at Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Steger Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary and the Illinois State President Women’s Fire Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois 60475. Funeral Service to be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 24 W 34th Pl, Steger, IL 60475. Interment to follow at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, Illinois.
