Carolyn A. Qunell, nee Carlson, 86, of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully June 5, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Marvin Qunell. Loving mother of Tim (Sharroll) Qunell, Kevin Qunell, Andy (Dana) Qunell and Amy (Larry) Chesla. Cherished grandmother of Timmie Jr., Katie, Zachary, Tyler, Vince, Reagan Qunell, Drew, Sydney and Lily Chesla. Cherished great grandmother of four. Carolyn was preceded in death by three sisters; Eleanor Witt, Dolores Voigts and Marion Baron. Carolyn retired from Bloom Trail High School after fifteen years of service as the Registrar. Visitation Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois.
