Catherine "Kay" Wiersma

Catherine “Kay” Wiersma, nee Scott, age 94, went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Beloved wife of the late James Wiersma. Dear mother of James (Andrea) Wiersma, Bonita (David) Krisher, Robert Wiersma, Judith (Michael) Jankovic, David (Karen) Wiersma, Mary Wiersma, late Jane (Martin) Dong, Kathleen (John) VantHoff, and Joel (Susan) Wiersma. Proud grandmother of 28 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Loving sister of John (Marion) Scott and sister-in-law of Annette Wiersma. Preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Visitation Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
