Catherine “Pat” L. Huisjen, nee Vree, age 94, of South Holland, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Martin Huisjen. Loving mother of Marty (late Janet) Huisjen, Cindy (late Lee) Kleidon, Henry (Janine) Huisjen and Michael Huisjen. Cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and great-grandmother of fifteen. Dear sister of the late Dorothy (George) Lubben and the late Joanne (late Jim) Pluymert. Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Dora Vree. Memorial service, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. There will be fellowship and refreshments after the service at Calvin Christian School. Private interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.
